Food & Nutrition Therapy

Your relationship with food in one of the most important relationships you can have, and Focus is a safe and confidential place to work through any type of food or eating related issue. Our compassionate registered dietitian specializes in intersecting nutrition with both mental health and physical health needs. As a licensed nutritionist, she is well-versed in medical nutrition therapy (such as sports nutrition, PCOS, and women’s hormonal issues), eating disorders (such as binge eating/BED, bulimia, and anorexia), food sensitivities/food allergies, special diets, and body image issues. In addition to individual sessions, we offer dietitian-led Meal Support Groups (virtually and in-person) that provide guidance and education in healing relationships with food.

Please note: All nutrition therapy is private pay (this means we do not accept insurance for nutrition sessions). However, we can provide a superbill for reimbursement (depending on your carrier), and we can charge health savings accounts. Weekly nutrition sessions are included in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for eating disorders, which is fully covered by insurance.
